• What is FR Number?

Number is a membership number required for candidates who do not have a Turkish Identity Number to apply for any exam organized by ÖSYM.

• What is a Foreign Resident Number starting with 9?

A Foreign Resident Number is a unique number consisting of 11 digits, given to foreigners who meet the necessary conditions by the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs. Click here for information about the FR number starting with 9.

ÖSYM does not provide an ÖSYM FR Number to candidates with a FR Number starting with 9. Candidates can use their FR Numbers starting with 9 in their applications.

• What is a FR number starting with 0?

A FR number starting with 0 is an 11-digit unique membership number provided by ÖSYM for use only in ÖSYM-related transactions to candidates who do not have a Turkish Identity Number or a FR number starting with 9 issued by the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs.

• How to Obtain a FR Number starting with 0?

ÖSYM does not provide a FR Number to candidates with a Turkish Identity Number or a FR Number starting with 9 issued by the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs.

To obtain a FR Number, follow these steps:

1. Fill out the FR Number Acquisition Form on the http://ais.osym.gov.tr/YabanciUyruk/YabanciUyrukNoEdinmeEn page.
2. Check the accuracy of all information entered in the form and click the "SAVE" button after ensuring its accuracy.
3. When you click the "SAVE" button, a "FR Number Request Form" will be created, and a "DOCUMENT CODE" with a validity of 7 days will be automatically generated by the system.
4. Print the "FR Number Request Form" and submit it to an ÖSYM Examination Coordination Office within 7 days.

5. If there is no obstacle to obtaining a FR Number, an ÖSYM FR Number starting with 0 will be provided by the system.

   The validity of your document code is 7 days. If you do not apply to an ÖSYM Exam Coordination Office within 7 days, your document code will be automatically deleted from the system.

• I have an ÖSYM FR Number starting with 0 from a previous exam application, but I forgot my ÖSYM FR Number, what should I do?

Fill out the FR Number Acquisition Form by checking the "I have a FR Number from a previous exam application, but I do not remember my FR Number" box, and follow the other ÖSYM FR Number Acquisition steps specified above.

If there is a FR Number matching your information in the system, it can be matched. If there is no matching FR Number, a new FR Number will be provided.
